The Maxxis Rekon Race tire is semi-smooth, it has the tread pattern of the trail version of the Rekon, but with smaller and shorter lugs.

Ideal for exceptionally rocky and treacherous trails where the probability of cuts and abrasions on the flanks is high.
• Tubeless Ready: Combines a carbon fiber cord for strength, a cord cushion for safety, and a liquid sealant compatible rubber for air retention, eliminating the need for an air chamber. The puncture protection layer helps prevent damage from road debris. Liquid sealant can be used to prevent any loss of air pressure.
