The Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires have come to improve the performance of the GP 4000 SII, which since its launch more than 10 years ago has been a best seller and one of the most used tires in Spain. With this new rubber, it has been possible to improve rolling resistance, allowing it to improve by up to 12%.
If its previous version was characterized by something, it was for having good puncture protection and from Continental they assure us that now it is up to 20% more resistant to punctures and at the same time 10 grams of weight have been reduced.
In its tubeless version you can ride with less pressure with which you will have a better grip in any type of condition and greater comfort. All this with an even better roll than with a tire or tubular, thanks to not needing cameras and removing an element between the wheel and the ground.
But that's not the best, the biggest benefit these tires have is the tubeless system and it is thanks to it that we will forget about the annoying punctures that can ruin our departure and make us return home early.
This GP 5000 incorporates the following technologies:

● Vectran Breaker: is a high-tech synthetic fiber made from a natural pattern. This fiber has a great resistance to wear with a very low weight. But in addition to being lightweight and flexible, Vectran Breaker will also protect you better against cuts than the typical nylon puncture protectors used by the competition.
