Mesh upper

The Clifton 7 features an open, lightweight mesh upper. The upper is see-through on the outside for a sleek look and clean silhouette, with only a few stitching on the inside. This construction provides a constant supply of cool and cool air while expelling hot, humid air that resides within during strenuous activity. Plus, the upper offers reinforced eyelets for added durability when tightening the laces. One of the new features of the Clifton 7 is the collar. The flared shape keeps the collar off the achilles to mitigate any chafing, and also acts as a tab at the heel for easy shoe removal.

Full EVA midsole

Initial Phase Meta-Rocker Geometry is applied to the midsole to increase running efficiency. The Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is specifically engineered with a low heel differential and a sculpted outsole to create a rocking-chair effect for a guided gait cycle. On the Clifton 7, the transition zone is positioned behind the metatarsal heads helping to create a smoother ride and a faster transition. A full EVA platform resides underneath for lightweight, responsive cushioning.

Grip sole

An outsole with a full ground contact design defines the Clifton 7. Strategic zones of high abrasion resistance rubber increase the shoe's durability, reducing its weight and providing improved traction on every surface. Choose the Clifton 7 for speed, cushioning and comfort.
