Advice for Trail Runners Ideal for a wide variety of terrain, the Cascadia 14 Running Shoes from Brooks have been updated from the previous model to provide better durability and traction while continuing to offer excellent stability, cushioning and protection. This is a versatile trail running shoe, ideal for a mix of terrains.

If you’re wanting to experience the feel of a neutral and highly-cushioned Brooks road shoe, then give the Glycerin 17 a try. Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.

Featuring a new TrailTack Rubber outsole, this shoe offers increased traction on wet and dry surfaces. The addition of a new Cordura Mud Guard provides protection from debris but lets the shoe drain, while an internal saddle system hugs and supports the foot. With these new features complementing an updated Pivot Post system which stabilises the foot from landing to push off, and with enhanced midsole flexibility, the Cascadia 14 really is a versatile trail shoe that will take you all the way from the door to the trail.
