The one-sided Assioma UNO Powermeter measures the power of the left leg. For the total power, the power of the left leg is doubled. This is sufficient for most athletes. Those who want to know exactly, want to learn more about their pedaling technique or have a muscular imbalance are better off with the double-sided version (Assioma DUO)
Compatibility
The Assioma Powermeters can be used with almost any bike. The pedal system is based on the Look Keo standard. To be able to mount the cleats on the shoes, street shoes with 3-hole mounting system are required.
ANT+ capable bike computers (Garmin, Wahoo, O-Synce, Sigma, SRM, etc.) work with the Assioma without problems. As the data transfer on the Assioma also takes place via Bluetooth Smart, the power meter can also be connected to smartphones.
Technical innovations
The battery life has been increased from 30h to 50h compared to its predecessor. To recharge the batteries, the pedals can remain mounted on the bike. The included charging cable is simply clicked onto the pedal using a magnetic plug.
The profile of the powermeter housing has been flattened to minimize the probability of the shoe touching the electronics. The goal in developing the Assioma was also to make it even more robust and reliable than the previous model - and the bePRO Powermeters had the lowest warranty rate with us.
The weight of the complete Powermeter pedals is lower than many other pedals without Powermeter. Weight weenies completey get their money worth - the Assioma pedals weigh in at less than 300g!
The measuring accuracy of +-1% does not have to hide from the competition. The data transfer is now dual and sends both in ANT+ protocol and via Bluetooth Smart. Firmware updates and several settings can be done with the new smartphone app.
