The Hoka One One Speedgoat 5 shoes are a highly recommended training/competition model for beginner runners who want to start running their first kilometers on mountain terrain. With a drop of 4 mm and the stability and cushioning it offers, it will be a very pleasant shoe to run.
The fifth edition of the Speedgoat, 15 grams lighter and much more grippy, features many innovations to improve performance. The weight reduction is due to the fact that they have fewer overlapping layers, which also achieves a more sustainable construction.
A dynamic textile component, which wraps the toe and forefoot, provides exceptional flexibility and comfort during the boot, as well as accommodating possible swelling of the foot, a feature that was already available in the Mafate Speed 3, the Evo Mafate 2 and the Evo Speedgoats. The improvement of the tongue helps to increase the sensation of comfort in the upper part of the foot, next to the ankle, where there can be friction.
Even lighter than before, the midsole compound provides HOKA's signature soft ride without reducing heel height. Combined with a double-layer jacquard mesh, this ensures the ultimate trail star inspires confidence on any terrain.
