A softer and lighter version of the legendary Brooks mountain shoe.

No matter how rocky the trail gets, the Brooks Cascadia 16 for Men will have you ready for any terrain. The running shoe has been revamped to be more protective and adaptable than before.

Added grooves in the forefoot and heel, along with vertical grooves in the Ballistic Rock Shield, provide flexibility in localized points. This allows for better cushioning, while the Brooks Cascadia 16 adapts better to changing terrain.

To make your run even more comfortable, Brooks has updated the midsole of the Cascadia 16. Soft, lightweight DNA LOFT v2 cushioning and more foam make every step that much smoother.

The new construction of the midsole and the sole allows the shoe to easily mold to the ground, improving a stable footprint.

• More release grooves in the midsole, which promote extra adaptability on rough terrain.
• TrailTack rubber outsole that provides traction on dry or wet terrain.

The improved Ballistic Rock Shield system protects against stones and debris while more easily adapting to uneven terrain.

• The Ballistic Rock Shield system now includes vertical grooves, to provide transverse adaptability.
• The gaiter tab on the heels secures it for additional protection on the mountain.

Our new DNA LOFT v2 midsole makes the Cascadia 16 cushioning 5% softer and 20% lighter than the Cascadia 15.

• The DNA LOFT v2 midsole is super soft as well as resistant.
• The extra 2mm of cushioning adds softness.
• Drain holes allow water to drain quickly to prevent overloading.
