The MET Codatronca is a helmet designed for those seeking maximum aerodynamic efficiency without sacrificing comfort. Ideal for triathletes and time trial specialists, it combines technical innovations with an aggressive and functional design.
Aerodynamic design tested in a wind tunnel
Its short tail design allows the cyclist to maintain aerodynamic efficiency even when moving the head. It has been optimized in wind tunnels by the Politecnico di Milano and Newton Lab to maximize air penetration.
The "Low Drag" inlets placed where air pressure is greatest reduce resistance without generating turbulence. The internal channels improve internal ventilation without compromising aerodynamic performance.
Intelligent ventilation without compromising performance
The helmet features three front air inlets that efficiently channel the flow to the interior. The internal structure guides the air through the helmet, keeping the head cool even during prolonged efforts.
Safety and fit with the Safe-T Orbital system
The Safe-T Orbital retention system allows precise adjustment with a 360° belt, height regulation, and two occipital support positions. It is also ponytail compatible, providing versatility and comfort.
The Air Lite straps reduce weight and improve ergonomics thanks to their integrated anchor points.
Magnetic visor and Fidlock buckle
The MET Dual Shield visor, with four magnetic points, fits perfectly to the shape of the helmet. Its wide design avoids visual distortions even in an aerodynamic position. Includes Fidlock magnetic buckle, easy to open and close even with one hand, which is key in quick changes like in triathlon.
Materials and construction
Made with a polycarbonate shell molded over EPS for a lightweight and safe structure. The MET Codatronca complies with CE and AS/NZS standards. Includes a soft bag for transporting and protecting the helmet.
