Detailed Description: Comfort and Continuous Evolution
The Asics Gel Nimbus 27 follows the Kaizen philosophy to improve what was already excellent, enhancing stability, cushioning, and breathability without increasing weight.
Midsole Technology
Combines FF BLAST PLUS ECO foam—lightweight, low density, and now more elastic—with innovative PureGEL in the heel, hexagonal, softer (-66%), and designed for cushioned landing and efficient recovery.
Height and Stability
The new midsole rises up to 43.5 mm in the heel (35.5 mm forefoot), with raised sidewalls offering a wider and more stable platform.
Upper and Fit
Double-layer engineered jacquard mesh upper: breathable monofilament exterior and well-ventilated inner layer. Ribbed knit collar and tongue enhance comfort and ease of wear.
Breathability
The new mesh significantly improves ventilation compared to Nimbus 26, reducing the sensation of heat and moisture inside the shoe.
Sole and Traction
The hybrid sole uses AHAR+ in heel and toe for durability and ASICSGRIP in propulsion zones for traction. Adds a lightweight TR lug, useful on rough asphalt and compact dirt.
