A lightweight base layer, it's perfect for outings in mild temperatures.
With a light base layer, for rides in mild temperatures, and with a thermal base layer, you can ride in rigorous temperatures. If you only have one jacket, it has to be this one.
The long sleeves completely make it a perfect jacket for many conditions. It is perfect for dry weather thanks to its high breathability and also for rainy weather thanks to Castelli's exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabrics.
A lightweight, water-resistant fabric with a fleece lined front and a lighter, stretchy fabric on the back for high breathability and excellent water repellency. The Perfetto RoS 2 jacket guarantees windproof protection and is much more breathable than the typical polyurethane membranes used in most jackets trying to compete with the Perfetto.
When the body is dry, it is not necessary to put on so many layers. Jacket without insulation, you can wear it with a thin base layer in case of temperate temperatures or you can add an insulating layer (a thermal jersey or the Alpha 2nd Layer from Castelli) in case of low temperatures.
It's up to you. The number "2" in the name refers to updates that have been applied from the last version, such as the YKK® Vislon® double-slider zipper. Reflective details on the back are more visible, we've moved the seam at the top of the shoulder back, and the three pockets offer more capacity. While the Perfetto guarantees a close fit, the new model offers more comfort in the torso, shoulders and biceps. This is the jacket every cyclist should have in their wardrobe.
