Castelli Pioggerella overshoes are designed to guarantee effective protection against rain and wind, in warm and cool temperatures.
The waterproof fabric with which it is made also offers high elasticity to achieve a perfect fit.

"Pioggerella" is the Italian word for light rain or drizzle. This bootie was made for those conditions, or even heavier rain, but they were made to provide protection against rain and wind without added insulation.
This is for those spring or fall days with wet roads or light rain, or even cold climates with no threat of rain. It is not your booty for extreme cold, but you will be surprised how perfect it is for much of your riding. It has taped seams, a waterproof zipper, and a silicone-sealed top edge to keep water out, while the high stretch also gives it a snug, comfortable and streamlined fit.
