Aerodynamics and Design
Inspired by data obtained from professional sports, the MET Manta MIPS features a low and tubular rear profile, enhancing its aerodynamic performance. Thanks to wind tunnel tests at the NEWTON lab in Milan, this helmet stays at the forefront of cycling technology.
MIPS-C2® Protection System
The MIPS-C2® system reduces rotational forces in case of a fall. A thin plastic layer called Low Friction Layer (LFL) is placed between the shell and the lining of the helmet, allowing the helmet to slide on the head and more efficiently dissipate impact forces.
Comfort and Customized Fit
The MET Manta MIPS incorporates the Safe-T Orbital system, a 360° fit that allows for modifications to both the height and diameter of the helmet. Additionally, its mesh air pads are hand washable and guarantee a comfortable and breathable fit, perfect for long rides on the bike.
Advanced Ventilation
With 15 strategically placed ventilation openings and internal channels that direct the air, the MET Manta MIPS ensures the cyclist maintains an optimal temperature even on the hottest days.
Magnetic Fidlock® Buckle
The magnetic Fidlock® closure facilitates helmet adjustment, allowing for quick and easy use, especially useful in triathlon transitions. Additionally, the adjustable design of the Air-Lite straps ensures a firm and comfortable hold.
