O2 VAM represents a breakthrough in carbon bike manufacturing by utilizing a revolutionary compression molding method. Specifically, by applying ultra-high levels of pressure Factor manages to expel any unnecessary resin and reduce the weight of the carbon laminate.

The result is a frame that is stiffer yet lighter than the original O2. In addition, Factor has incorporated into this O2 VAM advanced materials such as TeXtreme, Nippon Graphite fiber and boron fiber to maximize consistency and stiffness, while maintaining rider comfort.

This evolution is clearly visible in the increased clearance for the O2 VAM tire (30mm), improved cable routing and integration , while maintaining O2's race-proven geometry . Resulting in greater responsiveness and comfort.

With this evolution in its frames, Factor shows that light weight does not have to be at the expense of dynamism or driving comfort . The redesigned and optimized bottom bracket offers exceptional torsional stiffness and instant power transfer when required, while the seatpost and seat tube work in concert to provide the rider with all-day comfort.
