The Giro Synthe II MIPS helmet is the update of the original Synthe model. The compact design has great aerodynamics, as well as an impressive cooling power to keep your head cool at all times.
Leading in-helmet flat travel technology designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts.
When a head rotates rapidly and comes to an abrupt stop, the rotational acceleration can cause high levels of stress in brain tissue. The stretching of the tissue caused by these movements can lead to various types of brain injuries.
We believe that helmets equipped with MIPS technology can add a higher level of protection against certain types of impacts. MIPS uses a flat travel system that moves inside the helmet, mimicking the brain's own protection system.
Its high-performance features include the Roc Loc 5 Air fit system, with bi-directional adjustment, and the Integrated MIPS system, a brain protection system designed to redirect rotational forces away from the brain and provide more protection in certain impacts.
