Technical features

The Castelli Mortirolo 6S is designed to perform on moderately cold days when you need protection without sacrificing excellent ventilation. It is an ideal garment for high-intensity cycling, for rides in cool temperatures, and for cyclists who generate a lot of body heat during exertion.

Thermal protection where you need it most

The upper torso and sleeves feature three-layer GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® X-Fast fabric with a fleece interior, a combination aimed at providing warmth and a complete barrier against the wind. On the lower front area, Castelli uses GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® Mid fabric with a lightly brushed lining to maintain protection in an exposed zone without sacrificing comfort.

Breathability that keeps up with your pace

One of the key aspects of this jacket is its back panel, made from brushed Warmer fleece fabric in 100% polyester. As there is no windproof membrane in this area, it promotes more effective expulsion of moisture and excess heat, helping to keep the body drier, warmer and more comfortable during intense efforts.

Comfortable fit for stress-free pedalling

The Mortirolo 6S offers a regular fit with a semi-fitted cut. It does not aim for an extreme race fit, but rather a balance between comfort, freedom of movement and performance. This design adapts to different body types and leaves room to add an extra base layer without the garment feeling baggy or flapping in the wind.

Details that enhance visibility and functionality

To complete its technical design, this jacket features a reflective panel on the torso and reflective details applied by heat transfer on the pockets, improving visibility in low-light conditions. It also has 3 rear pockets for carrying essentials on the ride and a YKK® Vislon® zipper that provides a reliable and practical closure for everyday use.

Made for moderate cold, not extreme weather

This jacket excels across a wide range of cool conditions, with a recommended temperature range of 6 °C to 14 °C. It offers very good protection against wind and wheel-spray, but its design is focused on preventing overheating, making it better suited to intense rides and non-freezing temperatures than to heavy rain or severe cold.
