Technical features
The Altra Experience Wild 3+ are designed to deliver smoothness, comfort and grip on any trail route. Their design further enhances the experience of their predecessors with key updates in traction, cushioning and fit.
Responsive cushioning
The midsole is made from EGO P35 foam, a compression-molded blend that combines softness, lightness and dynamism. Its rocker geometry promotes natural transitions, making each step more efficient.
Recycled upper and smart protection
The upper is made from 100% recycled rolled mesh, reinforced to resist abrasion. It includes a sturdy toe cap wrapped in Vibram® Megagrip rubber for increased protection and durability. The GaiterTrap system makes it easy to use gaiters without straps to keep trail debris out.
Vibram outsole for maximum security
The Vibram® Megagrip outsole offers generous coverage and enlarged Traction Lugs, providing reliable grip on wet rock as well as technical or soft trails. Ideal for those who need consistent traction without compromising fluidity.
Natural space with FootShape
The standard FootShape design leaves ample room in the forefoot for natural toe alignment, improving stability and comfort on long or technically demanding routes.
