INSTRUCTIONS Mix the contents of each sachet with 500 ml of water and shake it well until it is completely dissolved. Proceed carefully, you need to mix the right amounts for the hydrogel technology to work. The content is designed to be mixed with water that has a calcium content of less than 40 mg/L. Higher levels of calcium could affect its dissolution. You can consume the drink before, during and/or after physical activity.
AMOUNT OF ENERGY Various studies have shown that our body can consume up to 90 grams of carbohydrates every hour. One sachet of Drink Mix 160, with 500 ml of water, contains 40 grams of carbohydrates.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Drink Mix 160 is a drink with hydrogel* technology applied. When the powder is mixed with water, it creates a sports drink that contains a high concentration of maltodextrin and fructose. The sports drink instantly turns into a hydrogel once it comes into contact with stomach acid. The hydrogel allows fluid and rapid transport of the drink to the intestine, where water, salt and carbohydrates are quickly absorbed.
