The Castelli PR 3 Speed Suit is designed for athletes looking to maximize every second in competition. Its development combines advanced aerodynamics, ultralight materials and technical solutions aimed at improving performance in swimming, cycling and running.
CFD-optimized design
Each panel of the suit and the placement of its seams have been developed using advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. This process optimizes airflow around the body to reduce aerodynamic drag and improve efficiency at race speeds.
Ribbed sleeves to reduce drag
The sleeves feature a technical ribbed fabric that helps decrease air resistance during the bike and run. This construction improves aerodynamic performance and provides measurable benefits to the drag coefficient (CdA).
Ultralight upper and active cooling
The upper section of the suit uses a 50-denier fabric, the finest and softest the brand has used to date. This material promotes direct evaporation of moisture at the skin, helping keep the body cool and dry during intense efforts.
Comfort and performance across all disciplines
The lower section is based on Premio fabric technology, which provides seamless compression, reduced friction and excellent aerodynamics. Additionally, the KISS Tri chamois is designed to offer comfort across all three triathlon disciplines, allowing you to perform at your best from start to finish.
Technical race-oriented details
The suit includes features designed for demanding race conditions, such as an internal ice pocket located in the collar to help regulate body temperature in extreme heat. It also includes an integrated asymmetrical GPS pocket and a covered rear pocket to store gels or energy bars without affecting aerodynamics.
