The Mizuno Wave Sky 9 are designed as daily training shoes that combine high-level cushioning, an adaptive fit, and superior durability. Perfect for runners training for a marathon as well as those who enjoy regular runs with maximum comfort.
Midsole technology and cushioning
They feature a dual-layer midsole: the top layer, Mizuno Enerzy NXT (nitrogen-infused), delivers soft cushioning and energy return; the bottom EVA-based layer provides greater stability. The Wave technology in the form of a double, undulating foam absorbs impact and adds a rebound effect with every stride.
Upper and breathability
The Smooth Stretch upper adapts perfectly to the foot thanks to its horizontal elasticity, ensuring a precise fit, good ventilation, and a smooth feel. It also includes a removable ultrasoft insole for added comfort.
Outsole and traction
The X10 outsole is made with carbon-infused rubber, improving traction and abrasion resistance on both dry and wet surfaces. It offers strategic heel reinforcements to enhance grip.
Fit and sustainability
The seamless design and Dynamotion Fit structure ensure a friction-free fit, ideal for long distances and runners with a larger build. In addition, at least 30% of its materials are recycled, reducing environmental impact.
