How to measure (Castelli)

Chest: keep the tape horizontal under the arms, around the fullest part of the chest.
Waist: measure around the natural waist, not too tight (slightly loose).
Hips: measure around the fullest part of the hips with feet together.
Inseam: using pants that fit well, measure from the inseam seam down to the ankle bone.
Gloves: measure hand circumference.

The Free Aero Race Shorts have been developed to be the best shorts for racing. The first model of the Castelli Free Aero Race is from 2007 and since then it has been continually improved using new fabrics and construction methods responding to test tests and feedback received from professional teams.

The Free has become the best-selling shorts in Castelli history. MUSCLE SUPPORT AND SPEED By developing the Free again, we have paid special attention to blood circulation to provide the correct uncompressed muscle support.

The Giro Air band at the end of the leg is more elastic and distributes the compression over a greater surface area.

The main part of the shorts uses a fabric with 30% Lycra® to guarantee an excellent fit.

We have also taken aerodynamics into account by optimizing the airflow with the Giro Air band at the end of the leg and applying a dimpled fabric on the side panels.

The new fabrics are softer than the fabrics of the previous versions, especially the surface fabric of the new Progetto X2 Air pad, which is even softer.

The innovative Doppio V construction in the front provides greater but uncompressed support in the abdomen area.

We've updated the suspenders with the Carré construction that keeps them perfectly flat. But the most important part of comfort is fit.
