Shimano’s S-Phyre SH-RC902 are high‑performance shoes featuring two extremely precise BOA Li2 dial closures and an excellent fit.

The upper construction not only wraps the foot optimally, but has also been equipped with function-specific zones to optimally balance flexibility and strength.

In the forefoot, a Powerzone wire guide is used to improve support; at the rear, a special heel cap provides protection against twisting during sprints.

The ultra-rigid carbon midsoles and outsoles deliver highly efficient power transfer, while Shimano’s optimized Dynalast technology prevents premature fatigue.

Technologies:

360° Surround Upper
The shoe upper completely wraps the rider’s foot down to the sole, fitting like a second skin. This provides comfort, exceptional stability, weight savings and increased performance.

Function-specific zones
In the upper, microfiber synthetic leather and mesh fabric are used and layered in a complex, precisely calculated way. This not only further improves the fit and increases breathability, but also ensures that the shoe is supportive and flexes in exactly the right places.

Anti-twist stabilizer
A special heel cap reduces the forces acting during explosive acceleration and therefore counteracts twisting of the foot. This improves performance, for example in sprints or at high cadences.

Shimano Dynalast
Shimano Dynalast is a shoe last design with reduced toe-spring. It creates a smoother upstroke when pedaling, which is more energy-efficient and therefore better for performance. Less power is lost and the rider tires less quickly.
