Cycling in the summer brings with it scorching heat and the brutal switchbacks of Alpe d'Huez. Completely redesigned for improved aerodynamic performance and comfort, the new Pro Racing Sock Bike excels in support, speed and breathability for long days in the saddle. The new Ultralight model, with all the features of the classic PRS bike but in an ultralight product, hardly moves the scales. Ultralight mesh around the foot and lower legs offers an unrivaled second-skin feel and exceptional comfort, quickly wicking away sweat and moisture as your power drops.
Perspiration is very important so that the foot stays cool and dry regardless of the time you spend in the saddle. The wider toe box has also been redesigned to offer better proprioception during pedal travel. Its exceptional bridge support fits perfectly and increases blood flow. It also prevents the fabric from twisting and creating discomfort or irritation on the skin when the sun hits. The special Mesh.Dots and Falt.Dots technologies of this ultralight model save bulk and weight but offer the same high performance benefits. They reach to the middle of the Achilles tendon to offer more protection, support and ventilation.
Underfoot, a design with Flat.Dots and Mesh.Dots also help add grip to the shoe. It also provides gentle microstimulation to increase venous return and improves ventilation by increasing airflow between points. The sides of the socks feature our new Aero.dots from the malleolus to the seam, which directs airflow to reduce turbulence at the rear of the sock and reduce drag as speed increases.
The cut, higher than in our trail and running models, has been specifically designed to meet the demands of performance and the aesthetics of cycling, always within the limits of the UCI. An ergonomic label at the back of the sock adds a touch of class and the discipline is discreetly embroidered on the inside to help you remember it's your day to ride.
