Description
Our yellow tube tape is thicker than the other black tape option. Both are made of the same material, therefore, the yellow one is the most resistant and durable option, although being thicker it adapts worse to rims with a deep central groove, so its use is recommended only on rims with a smooth inner profile . In the case of rims with a very marked or deep central channel, the use of black tape is recommended, which, being thinner, adapts better to the rim, although it is less durable. At the end of its assembly it is important to round off the corners of the final end of the tape with scissors, in order to prevent it from coming off prematurely.
A tip or tip to get our freshly glued tape to adhere correctly and last much longer is, after gluing the tape, first mount the thin valve tube wheel for a few hours. The pressure of the tube inside the wheel and against the tape will optimize the adhesion of the tape itself to the rim. To finish the tubeless process, remove the tube and mount the valve with the tubeless tire.
