Designed in conjunction with Australian DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Maxxis Dissector mtb tire seeks to minimize drag while retaining control when cornering thanks to its center studded tread. This versatile tire can be used as front, torque or rear, depending on the road conditions and the modality (DH or Enduro).
An intermediate compound setting used on certain mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is smoother and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to offer the ultimate in grip and slow rebound properties for unmatched traction in downhill applications.
Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a tube tire; and less chance of crushing because there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used on the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready.
