The Mizuno Wave Rider 29 represents a significant evolution in the Wave Rider line, incorporating technologies that enhance the running experience without losing the essence that defines this model.
Cushioning technology
The midsole is made entirely of the new Mizuno Enerzy NXT foam, infused with nitrogen, which provides softer cushioning and greater energy return. This foam is present both at the top and bottom of the midsole, improving the transition from impact to takeoff.
Stability and responsiveness
The Mizuno Wave plate, manufactured from plant-based TPU, offers additional stability and promotes a smoother weight transfer during the run. This combination of technologies delivers a balanced and efficient stride.
Upper and fit
The Jacquard Air Mesh upper improves breathability and fit, comfortably adapting to the foot. In addition, the gusseted tongue is attached to the upper by a wide band, wrapping the midfoot to prevent unwanted movement and ensure a secure fit.
Outsole and durability
The X10 outsole with carbon rubber ensures excellent traction and durability on asphalt surfaces, providing solid grip even in wet conditions.
Sustainability
Committed to the environment, the Mizuno Wave Rider 29 incorporates recycled materials in the upper, lining, laces, and insole, reaching a percentage above 90% in these components.
