The Sidi T5 Air shoes is a renewed version of the Sidi T-4 Air triathlon shoes. They are made of Politex synthetic material, with micro perforations for perfect ventilation. They incorporate a closure on two velcro straps and a tab on the heel for quick transitions. Completing these shoes are the Sidi reinforced heel counter, a replaceable heel pad and the Twelve Carbon Composite sole.
Technologies
Politex Microfiber
The Politex material consists of several superimposed layers with different physical and mechanical properties, together with 2 fabrics (jersey + felt) that give it a special resistance to tearing and wear. The material is manufactured in strict compliance with European standards.
Twelve Carbon Composite sole
The Twelve Carbon Composite outsole is made of two different materials fused together: nylon and carbon fiber. It is composed of carbon fiber injected on a nylon base. The nylon used does not absorb water and does not lose its stiffness in hot or humid conditions, even with the passage of time, resulting in a light and rigid sole.

The reinforced heel holds the foot in position and prevents the shoe from deforming due to extreme use or prolonged pressure.
Sidi cycling shoes have a replaceable polyurethane heel in the heel area.
